I don't know about y'all but these days I just can't seem to decide whether I want to cook Korean, Indian, African or Brooklyn-ian. It starts out innocently: I throw a heaping plop of Indian style curry paste into my skillet, but then all of sudden I become possessed and toss in kimchi and yucca, and then it's all I can do to keep my self from opening that bag of couscous.

But then the strangest thing happens, my lovely kumquats. Just as the cayenne-powered dust settles, I realize I have created a totally delicious, completely wild medley of international fusion! A Moroccan-Indian-Korean feast fit for a queen, or even a princess like moi. Ain't you never heard of kimchi curry?

I mean really, darlins, I used to expel more energy than a debutante in a lipstick factory trying to decide what part of the world I wanted to sauté. Just how is a girl supposed to choose when the world offers up such a sexy smorgasbord? The answer is simple my little gumbophiles; we don't have to choose. We don't even have to know what continent we're leaning toward. All we have to do is pull on our go-go boots and start playing. Global fusion is all the rage--It's fun, easy, wacky, wonderful and totally delicious.

And the best part is nobody will know what the hell you're trying to do, so they'll just have to sit back and take the ride.
